BFGoodrich Driving School sponsored by Gateway Mustang
The PITS Driving Experience kicks off at Newport Speedway with The Gateway Mustang Crew hosting their BFGoodrich Driving School from 9:00am – 5:00pm
Newport Speedway – 767 Industrial Road, Newport, TN 37821
There’s a Morning Session from 9:00am – 12:30pm, then an hour for lunch before the Afternoon Session from 1:30pm to 5:00pm closes things out. From beginner to expert, the instructors at Gateway Mustang will provide a mix of classroom and on-course instruction. The classroom portion covers terminology, the race line and hitting the apex along with various methods of going fast while maintaining control, then it’s time to apply what you’ve learned from behind the wheel!

Get your first look at the caliber of rides already in town for PITS at one of our favorite spots, Quaker Steak & Lube from 3:00pm – 9:00pm.

The PITS Crew will be there with a PITS Tent and registration table with any pre-registration packets that didn’t get mailed out in time and ready to handle any registration questions/issues.
Aaron and the ClearShine Products Team will also be onsite with the last opportunity to buy Shine Run Cards and handing out their amazing Goody Bags. These are in limited quantity and are on a first come, first serve basis to Shine Run participants(we’ll verify against a printed registration list).

The PITS crew never misses this opportunity to come relax and hang out chatting it up with so many familiar faces while meeting new ones too. More than one Staff Pick Award given out on Saturday was spotted at this cruise in on Monday. Stop in for a quick look before or after dinner or park, stay and eat at either Quaker Steak & Lube or Roma Table that flank each end of the parking lot that is wall-to-wall Mustangs!
