Car Show – Day 2     

Ponies In The Smokies, presented by National Parts Depot, brings you one of the largest Mustang and Ford car shows in the country at the Sevierville Convention Center from 8:00am to 4:00pm on Friday!

Sevierville Convention Center – 202 Gists Creek Road, Sevierville, TN 37876  

Enjoy two car shows in one!

Indoor portion features four special displays:

  • The 62 Years of Mustang with one example representing each year of Mustang production.
  • The S197 Collection featuring many specialty models across the 2005-2014 model run.
  • The 1993 Cobra Collection featuring stock and modified ’93 Cobra’s.
  • The Convertible Showcase with the ever-popular pop-top versions of your favorite model.
  • Elite5 are the outside ward winners invited inside and are in the running for Best of Show Outside

The inside also includes vendors, merchandise, food, music and the main stage that will feature morning blessings, the National Anthem and Awards Ceremony.

Outside is a traditional car show with:

  • 43 Classes for ~600 judged vehicles
  • ~400 Display Only vehicles
  • Outside Vendors along the Manufacturer’s Midway
  • VIP Reserved Parking section
  • King of the Smokies Competition participant section
  • 5.0 Asylum Fox Invitational section
  • Convenient access between the outside surface lots and indoor exhibit hall
  • The same music and announcements are piped outside so the entire property is sync’d up

Saturday is more of a cruise in where judged and display parking is no longer segregated as judging was conducted the day before, but with a packed house we can no longer open it up as a “cruise in”, therefore it is “Car Show Day 2” so there’s room for everyone from Friday with their show decals to come back to the show lots on Saturday.

Awards Ceremony

PITS concludes with the awards ceremony on the main stage at the Sevierville Convention Center with a 2:30pm target.

  • 250+ awards and prizes are announced
  • Copper Stills, One and half gallon Jugs, Cash, Gift Cards, Vouchers, Merchandise, Parts and Prizes
  • Class Awards Outside, Top 75 Outside, Inside display, Years of Mustang Generation Awards, Vendor Choice, NPD Picks, PITS Staff Picks, Shine Run Top hands, Specialty Awards, Driving Experience Awards, KOTS Competition, Burnout Competition, Dyno Competition, Elite 5 and Best of Show Outside and Inside.

Next Year’s show dates are also announced at the Awards Ceremony before we bid everyone farewell and safe travels home!
