The Car Show at Ponies In The Smokies is the grand finale after a week of Mustang packed action in the Tennessee mountains. Hosted on Friday & Saturday at the Sevierville Convention Center in Sevierville, Tennessee, the show features both an outside and inside show. The outside show is open to all Ford Mustangs, Fox Chassis cars, Ford Lightnings, and other special interest trucks like Saleen, Roush, Harley Davidson, etc (if you are not sure, please contact us for prior approval).

One very unique feature is the awards themselves with real stoneware moonshine jugs for the class winners and real copper stills for Best of Show inside & outside winners.

The inside car show is invitation only and features several special displays. The Years Of Mustang (YoM) display is an annual collection representing every year of Mustang production and will compete for inside Best of Show. There are typically two to three other special displays that accompany the YoM display where the themes rotate each year and compete for Top 5 within their own display.

The outside car show is a more traditional car show format including Top 75 overall and dozens of class and category awards. The Top Five from the outside car show on Friday move inside on Saturday as “The Elite Five”, where they will be on display for everyone to see as they battle it out for outside Best Of Show.

Both inside and outside cars as well as vendor display cars are all eligible for a wide variety of vendor picks, media picks as well as the PITS Crew awards.
