Ponies In The Smokies July 29 – August 1, 2020 CANCELLED

Ponies In The Smokies July 29 – August 1, 2020 CANCELLED

After constantly monitoring the shifting tides of the COVID-19 Pandemic and weighing our desire to move forward with the 2020 show in just 4 weeks against the public safety of our participants, sponsors, vendors, spectators, venues, volunteers and staff we have decided to skip the uncertainty of 2020 altogether and resume the show again in March 2021.

The next PITS event will be March 24th-27th, 2021

Much like we announced at the initial postponement 3 months ago, in lieu of refunds we are honoring all pre-paid registrations at the 2021 show.

The PITS Crew has attended a handful of events since the quarantine was lifted and we witnessed lackluster attendance, the absence of vendors and COVID-19 restricted practices mandated on public gatherings, all of which dampened what have been epic events in the past.  As we speak, events continue cancelling, beaches are closing for the upcoming holiday, theme parks are under public petition to not open and states are regressing back to Phase 1 open status.  Positive cases of COVID-19 are on the rise again which includes Sevier County, TN that encompasses our host cities of Pigeon Forge and Sevierville.  With that, we cannot stubbornly put PITS attendees in harm’s way.

We only want to deliver the best show and highest entertainment value possible and the current challenges our country faces are prohibiting it from happening this year.  As difficult the decision was to make and disappointing this is for all of us, we hope you understand the priority we place on everyone’s safety and we look forward to moving on to a happier and healthier 2021.
