I wish the PITS Team would consider moving the event date to April for improved weather conditions.

Thanks for your suggestion, however, we are commited to march for several reasons.
#1- It gives us a jump on the show season as one of the first major events of the year.
#2- In April, we have the Pigeon Forge Rod Run, Charlotte Auto Fair and the Atlanta NMRA race to compete with.
#3- April in the mountains doesnt always mean great weather. I was there this year the third week in April for Rod Run and it was still unseasonably cold.
Weather is just a wild card we have to deal with. Hopefully it will be a little warmer next year!
